Twisted Love: Chapter 2 ~ FirF & SabbyLYC

Title: Twisted Love: Chapter 2 ~ FirF & SabbyLYC

(- Justin's Point-of-View -)

"Hey Stephen!" I gave him a smile as I was about to enter the school gate. I remember the first time I entered these metal fences. The bars were made of stainless steel. From afar, I thought that it was pure onyx. The top of each bar was our school crest in gold-plated iron. It was shiny and majestic as always.

Stephen just came out from his butler's sleek black 2007 XD-98 Convertible Panther. He was looking fresh. His hair was professionally styled. His eyes were blue, which really matched his dark brown hair. His maroon-highlighted fringe was hanging slightly below his thick eyebrows. As he signaled to his butler, Julian, he swung his bag over his big shoulders. After a split second later, he finally spotted me and gave me his trademark smile. His teeth were as white as snow. I swore that if it was under direct sunlight, his teeth would sparkle in the sunlight. As the car drove off, he approached me.

As we entered the school, I could smell the odour of wet grass. Every morning, our resident caretaker, Mr. Jibbs, would water the plants and the grass patches around the school. He was someone you did not want to say "How are you?" to. He was a pessimist. He would scare the guts out of anyone who would pass by. The students would try our very best to avoid him.

Stephen took a fast glance at his SWATCH 9000 Limited Edition. It was coated silver, but had a leaf-green digits showing. It showed "0714HRS". We needed to be in the auditorium before 7.20! Stephen and I breezed quickly along the hollow hallways. The lights weren't on yet. Soon, we arrived in time and sat at the usual back seats where Tim and Ryan was.

I could literally feel my muscles relaxing after a quick breeze across the school's hallways. Just when I was about to ask a question to Tim about the RJCC, the school light dimmed and the projected ignited. Showing a bright logo with a picture of a scroll, which said "Reneveen Junior College Council Election". Great. I had always hated elections. Especially for the student council. They would take 4 periods off the normal timetable to let over 5 000 students to vote. Others might rejoice, but I'm otherwise. Missing 4 periods means missing 4 hours of staring at Katie and Sharintz.

"Damn." I cursed under my breath. The co-ordinator for the election was the president for the Faculty of Lifestyle and Virtues (FLV), Mdm. Koorash.

Mdm. Koorash cleared her throat and said into the microphone, "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Anually Reneveen Junior College Council Election. As you may know, every semester, we will elect the president, vice-president, treasurer, secretary, and sectional heads for the Faculty of Student Council. Without further ado, I, as president of FLV, will officially launch the election!"

I was exulted that we could actually roam freely after we had placed our election votes. I invited Ryan and Stephen to self-study and chill at the school's café. They eventually agreed. Sadly, Tim was not able to join us. As an active member of the council, he was expected to help out. Oh well.

Sitting barely a chair away from Ryan, I couldn't help but to realise his sharp features. His eyes were grey. I could see that he was really focused on his calculus textbook. His rugged-looking hair really made him stand out among the rest. He was really irresistible. I couldn't believe that he didn't know that he was quite good-looking, I whispered to myself. Sometimes, I wonder if any girls had a crush on him.

--

After a solid four and a half hours, we were called back over the PA system to the auditorium for the results. As I sat on my usual seat again, I realised that Tim wasn't there. I smiled to myself. I knew what was going to happen next.

Soon, the lights dimmed again and the audience went silent.

Mdm. Koorash spoke into the microphone once again, "Students, we have collated your votes. Behind these curtains, are the student council members and your elected heads. Let's wind up the curtains and reveal our student council members." The curtains unwind. I saw like about 6 dozen students on stage. I glared at the speakers' stand. I saw him! It was Tim! He's elected the president again!

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen, I, Timothy Lincoln George, am elected as president for Student Faculty, again." Half of the audience gave a giggle. "Assisting me in this journey to nurture our school is Sharintz McFizzy. As president and vice-president, we would like to introduce to you to the treasurer, secretary and sectional heads." After saying that, the projector lit up with the names of the sectional heads of the Student Faculty.

President - Timothy George
Vice-President - Sharintz McFizzy
Treasurer - Jake Powell
Secretary - Katie Mich
Head of Section Science and Mathematics - Jim Nick
Head of Language and Culture - Firenze Snape
Head of Aesthetics - Henrier Henderson
Head of The Arts - Aaron Cartney
Head of Counseling - Lawrence Sebastian

Tim's name was at the top of the list. Below it was Sharintz's. Then it branched out to the different positions. I smiled to myself upon seeing Sharintz's and Katie's picture.

After Calculus class, Tim, Ryan, Stephen and I were heading back home. As we were about to exit the gate, we saw a familiar face. Sharintz.

Sharintz was surrounded with her clique as usual. Katie was in it. Seems like they didn't notice. After a second, Sharintz took a glance at me and chuckled. I smiled back and walked out with the rest.

It has been the day's usual routine. Julian will pick up Stephen. I'll drive Tim and Ryan home. Tim's house was just a few blocks away from campus. Ryan's was near my house. While driving, we talked. We talked about the hottest girls on campus. While Tim and Ryan giggled, I just kept quiet. They didn't know that I had a huge crush on Sharintz and Katie.
