"How are we going to control these wild powers? It's going to be hard for my to stare at girls now you know." Aronn said with his wry humor.

While pacing up and down, I explained to them that the only path to inner-peace is by searching for your soul. Which means we'll have to meditate.

After thinking for a moment, I realized that energy can be made into magic.
I concentrated very hard and flickered my fingers. All of were teleported to the top of an ulu mountain. Where we sat and meditated. Time passed very slow.

After an evening of meditating on the peak of an unknown mountain, we felt refresh. We felt like our magic were being renewed. With a flick of my hand, we were all teleported back to our own cozy bed.

I dragged myself to the bathroom, washed myself up, and rushed to school. I know that I was already late. In school, I saw Adrian, Ben, Sebastian, and Aronn had wide smiles on their faces. I approached them and asked why.

"Hey, what's up?" I asked Adrian.
"I don't know. We just feel like kicking some magical butt." He replied with a short snort.
"I don't know about you guys, but do you ponder on what is our source of magic?" Ben asked the gang.
"Let me explain." I explained about the history of the mystical powers.

Ions ago, there lived 5 mystical warriors. They had each of their own elements. Fire, Water, Wind, Earth and Spiritual. They also had strong elemental and non-elemental powers. Each of the warriors, had a mythical creature.

The Fire Warrior had the powers over Phoenixue, king of the skies. He was also known as Phoenix Warrior.

Water Warrior had control over the seas. His mythical creature was Mermaidine, secret of the seas. He was known as Mermaid Warrior.

The Wind Warrior had the power of wind and air elements. It also controls the weather. He held the powers of Thunderizbird, protector of the clouds. He was known as the Thunder Warrior.

The Earth Warrior had the powers of manipulating growth, strength, and agility. It had the powers of earth control too. His mythical creature was Centaurus, Warrior of the grounds. He was known as the Centaur Warrior.

The Spiritual Warrior had the powers of pure magic, like time-traveling, temporal stasis, etc. He had a mythical creature called Pegasusix, the protector of heavens. He was known as the Pegasus Warrior.

The warriors had their mystical powers inside a crystal. A ruby, sapphire, emerald, topaz, and silver. The mystic crystals were then placed onto a crown called Mystio Crowna, which holds the power of trapping evil and releasing evil.

When the crown's mystic magic were released, good and evil magic were released again...

The mystic story may not be true but, we know that once we received this powers, there must be incredible evil out there waiting to feed on our mystical force...

Today's Topic: There's A Good Side of 6 Endurance

Many of the teachers look down on us. They dread to teach us. They think we're hopeless. Well, this post is to prove you wrong.

We may not be as smart as 6 Challenge.
We are not well-liked among peers.
We may not be the most diligent ones around, but we sure know when to work hard.
We may not obey all the school rules, but we sure know when to stop.

We're not professional, nor are we beginners. We're average.
We know how to respect someone who respects us back.
We may not like all lessons but we sure have our favorites.

We, pupils of 6 Endurance, have our own uniqueness and talents. Most of us are better in sports and aesthetics, instead of academical subjects

We can make music.
We can make people laugh.
We can play sport.
We can draw.
We can dance.
We can act.
We can do many other stuff.

No, I'm not saying that we're professional. I'm just saying that we are still human and still have pros and cons. Politically speaking, we are way better in aesthetics and sport instead of academical subjects.

No, I'm not saying academical subjects are not important. But English, Maths, Science isn't everything. Like I said in my previous articles, what is crucial in our ambition is aim, attitude, and talent.

Tch, and all those stories about boyfriends from Raffles? We found out that it was obviously fake. :) Other stuff was fake too. Oh yea, I know, you're so desperate for a boyfriend that you made a fictional one! Always wanted people to look up to you as an elite right? Well, now you can with all those "Raffles Institution" boyfriend and your "1-million-dollar-in-the-bank" stories. I'm sure you'll inspire some TV producers. Oh yes, I know you wanted to have people to praise you. But I'm sure there's no need for you to pretend to be a Primary 5 kid and praised yourself on the tagboard. Kekekez.

We know that you want to boast a lot. You're the proud one. Never wanted to be a mediocre girl huh? And what's with the acting humble. No need for that. We all saw your true colors. And it's definitely not desirable.

Don't try to be humble by saying that you're ugly. Then, when people call you ugly you slap their face. Humble, huh?

And oh, all those exaggerations about more than 500+ people likes you. Tsk, dream on. I know thats your ultimate goal. I knew that you were telling lies long time ago. And I just played along. I can't stand it any longer.

Fictional: Chapter 1 - Superhuman

As we alighted the bus, an unusual sight caught our attention.

"This isn't Causeway Point. It looks deserted." Aronn said with shivers. He maintained to keep calm and cool. He always does.

The street resembled a typical wild wild west movie, yet it has something magical behind it. We were looking all around, I saw an old lady weeping. She muttered something that sounded Latin to me. I approached her, but before I opened my mouth, she said:

"They've arrived! The five chosen ones are here. They entered the magical realm!" She stopped weeping and cried out loud. Again, she muttered something that sounded like Latin.

I heard my alarm clock. I woke up in a sudden, thinking about the dream. A dream or a premonition?

In school, I told my friends about the dream. Coincidentally, they had the same dream. It's gotta be a premonition. After the discussion, everyone was silent for a minute before Ben told us that all the Mercury, Mars, Earth, Venus, The Moon, Jupiter, and the Sun are lined up were 10.39pm on that day. Then, we decided to keep the premonition behind us and hope that it's just a dream.

But no, the day after that, I received tons miss calls from Aronn, Benedict, Sebastian, and Adrian. It was weird 'cause I never had all four of them calling me in one day. So I called Adrian's cellular phone. I heard that he was talking something in mandarin and Aronn, Sebastian, and Benedict replied him.

"Hello?"
"Firdaus? We're at Admiralty Station's McDonald. Seems like there's a big problem we have to discuss. We need you."
"I'm coming."

Once I reached the destination, I saw all of them had long faces on. Then, Aronn decided to say something first.

"We have a big problem. A really big one. I think we shouldn't discuss it here."
"How about my place?" I asked. They eventually agreed.

"Ever since yesterday's dream, weird things are happening. Whenever I stare at something, it will come flying straight to me," Aronn confessed.
"Yesterday, while showering, I froze the water in mid-air," Sebastian spurted out.
"I feel lighter too!" Adrian said.
"And I have some sort of protection against pain." Ben said quickly.

"Hmm, I've heard of this before," I said with my chin resting on my hand. "Mythology! It has been a myth that long ago, during Merlin's days, there was five warriors, whose power hibernated and will come when the day darkness arrives. We ARE the five warriors!"

They looked at me in confusion. I heaved a sigh and said:

"Aronn has telekinesis. That explains how he moves things with his mind. Adrian has Molecular Regeneration, which means you're able to change to water vapor quickly and reformed anyway you desire. Sebastian has the power of Temporal Stasis. You're able to stop or slow down any molecule. Benedict, you have the power of Multiple Protection Strength. Ability to strengthen yourself like a rock."

"How about you?" Adrian asked.

"So far nothing has happened to me. But according the the Books of Mythology, the fifth warrior has the power of Excessive Potential Energy. I'm able to manipulate energy in any form." I muttered.

"We're freaks! We're freaks! We're just 12 and people will think we're crazy!" Benedict was pacing up and down.

"Don't worry. We'll be find if we keep it a secret. We can't misuse this gifts. We may risk the other 4 and our lives." Adrian said courageously.

Okay, I had thought of this topic when my mom laughed about me being an actor/singer. So, here's my point of view.

Academic Subjects are not everything. One may fail in certain subject but may be suitable for jobs which don't require professionalism in that area. For example, someone can get B4 for Mathematics and yet become a successful singer as long as they have the talent. Agree?

It's like asking a popcorn to stay as a corn even though it has been added other stuff. Parents nowadays are like that. They'll send their children to a thousand tuition centers, but little do they know that their children actually has a talent for music. If they sent their child to improve his/her music skills, their child would be successful in the future.

Parents are willing to spend all their bank savings for the child's additional teachings for the child but don't even give a damn about the child's ambition and hidden talents.

I believe that in every child, there's talent. It's like a small seed. It needs lots of care and nurture for it to grow into a big tree. That's talent. If you're aren't train from young, your talent wont develop.

This hidden talent may be playing instruments, singing, drawing, dancing, acting, etc. Parents should consult the child on what are his or her ambitions before actually sending him to tuition of all the subjects. When there's a chance for him/her to shine his/her talent, don't let it pass. Be fully supportive! You'll never know when the seed of talent in your child will vanish...

"Nicole! Get ready for school!" Nicole Johnson' mother shouted at her. It was like a typical Monday morning. She dragged herself out of bed and went straight to have a quick shower. As she was showering, she was thinking on how's the day gonna go.

"Math class, then Biology..." She went on thinking about today's lesson schedule.

Nicole Anna Johnson is your average high school girl. She has a nice blond hair, which she got genetically from her mother. She has the eyes of her father, green. Even though she's blond, her brother's hair is brown.

She grabbed a towel and wrapped it around her. She got dressed in her jeans and a T-shirt, brushed her nicely-curled blond hair, and went to get something for breakfast.

Down at her dining table, her brother, Matthew, was already finishing his cereal. Their father, Mr Johnson, was engrossed in reading the daily newspaper.

Nicole took a sip of coffee and said, "I'm ready!" Mr Johnson immediately folded his newspaper and headed for his green SUV, which was parked in the family's garage.

The school bell rung and Nicole went to her math class. It seems like any other day, but something odd caught her eyes. She saw a cute guy who's a real eye-candy. After the period ended, she went to him.

"Hi, I see that you're new here. I'm Nicole. Nice to meet you," Nicole said with a smile. It's obviously love-at-first-sight.

"Hey, I'm Jake, I came from California. It's nice to meet you too," Jake gave a charming smile. They both stared into each others' eyes for a moment. It was disrupted by the school bell.

"Oh, I better go. Hope to see you around, Jake," Nicole said as she turned away. Slowly she walks away from Jake.

"Wait, Nicole, uh, Here's my number. Call me anytime." Jake was shy in his own ways too. Nicole was quiet on the outside, but her heart was jumping for joy. She was glad that she will get to know Jake.

Today's Topic: Friendship - Do we know the real meaning?

I bet all of us here has lots of friends. Last Friday, Mdm Veni told us about a true friendship. That made me think of some stuff which I decided to post on this humble blog of mine.

Friendship is not about being just friends. Friendship is not a one-night-stand thing. It's lifelong. Please refer to the scenarios below:

Scenario #1

Ross were on a very good terms with Rachel, Monica, Susan, and Kate. One fine day, Ross was teased by other guys from school for having girls as their best friends. From then on, Ross gave Rachel, Monica, Susan, and Kate a cold shoulder. He began hanging out with guys that he doesn't even like at all. Was his decision responsible and showing good friendship?

Answer: No. If you really want to be friends with someone, you'll have to endure all external affairs like teasing, etc. Friends are united as one regardless of whatever the obstacles or setbacks are.

Scenario #2

Joey was depressed about life. It's the phase of puberty where he just felt like committing suicide. In the midst of all that, none of his friends bothered or noticed him. Not even a single soul. He was about to cut himself when the phone rang. It was Chandler, one of his best friends. They kept talking and talking on the phone. Was Chandler a good friend?

Answer: Yes. He took a few seconds of his life to think about Joey. That shows that he cares about him. Friendship is also about being there for friends despite times of emergency, despair, or even joy.

Friendship is all about being united as one with your friends. I may have a lot of best friends, but I don't think I'm there for all of you enough yet. But I'll be there for all of my best friends no matter what. :)

Worst Valentines' Day Ever!

I hate today. I hate 14th February. You know why? Here. Heck, I'm going to reveal names. I don't give a damn about people's privacy anymore.

It all went okay till I received a cold shoulder from whom I thought was my best friends. Yes, Nurul and Syafiqah. They were once in my Pentagram Of Friendship. Sheesh. Oh well, who needs over-sensitive and backstabbing friends anyway. We hate you too. :)

That Darnerl also hates me, you know why? 'Cause he's just the drumer
Then after school, we had a rehearsal in the hall. But, you know what? We banged into the girls from 6 Courage. They told us that our performance is going to be scraped off JUST BECAUSE it has nothing to do with Chinese New Year and the artiste is the same. Ridiculous ain't it? 6 Challenge's third item also more revealing and also has nothing to do with Chinese New Year. It's not like ours is better than theirs. Come on luh! If I had a choice, I'd perform their class' performance. And gee, it's just a performance. It's not like it's going to be remembered for the rest of Admiralty's history. It's just a mere 4 minutes. There's going to be more chances for performances later on in the year. Don't make a mountain out of a molehill.

When I came home, I thought of just sleeping in peace. But, NOO! There was another problem. My stupid brother WORE MY JACKET which was for a performance. Puh-leeze! HE HAD MUCH more nicer jackets, but no, HE HAD TO wore mine. Sheesh. Worst day ever.

From now on, I'm known as Mr Well-Hated instead of Mr Well-Liked. Since you people hate me, I hate you more. :)

Full-Dress Rehearsal

Today, from 9.45 - 12.00, was our Chinese New Year concert Full-Dress Rehearsal. It went out well. I wore my newly-bought jacket and T-shirt. Yea, even though it was a HOT day, I endured it. >;)

Anyway, I bet we shocked the P6 level just now. I know that I have some Non-P6 readers, so I won't reveal what we're going to perform. You'll have to wait to Friday. >;))

Fictional: 6 Endurance Class Reunion 2027

It seems like it was yesterday when I saw these friends of mine, who grew up with me, who helped me out in times of need, who are my true friends.

Right here I am, sitting and listening to one of my childhood buddies, Aronn's life after Secondary.

"So, after I completed Health and Sports course at Temasek Polytechnic, I signed up for being a national badminton player," He took a sip of water before continuing,"But I decided to continue my studies and went to NIE to become a PE teacher."

It was interesting to know that the model pupil of 5G (2006) is now already a teacher! I can vaguely remember him telling me he hated school. When I was still deep in thoughts, another one of my buddies started about his life.

"My life after Junior College was good. I worked as an assistant Secretary at an attorney's office. Oh, anyway, attorney is lawyer, for your information." Benedict was being as arrogant as a peacock again. Seems like twenty years made no difference in him. I creek a soft smile.

"Well, my life after two whole years of Mass Communications in Ngee Ann Poly was horrible. No magazine company wanted to hire me. "Oh, I don't know..." Aronn made a fast decision, "Oh, alright! Here's my contact number."

It was interesting how two ex-classmates are becoming friends again. That made me smile more.

"My life at Mediacorp is obviously doing fine," Yong Cheng made a wry joke. He was also known as Sebastian Lee now. He's starring in Singapore's version of F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

Apparently, it was the ladies' turn. Nurul, who was looking gorgeous in her black velvet evening gown with her hair all tied up elegantly, started sharing with us her life after Polytechnic.

"After studying Fashion at Nanyang Polytechnic, they recommended me to Nanyang's Academy of Fine Arts. I studied there for 2 years before I graduated and started a fashion line of my own. Now, ladies and gentlemen, you're looking at my first ever successful evening gown. Classic!" She said as fast as lightning. We were blown away by her success.

"And guess what? I'm her personal assistant!" Gayathri said out happily.

After Gayathri, Syafiqah started telling her stories of her life.

"I'm currently teaching a international kindergarten. I just love telling them about my favorite television shows." She was still as shy as ever. Guess 20 years is no different to her either.

Umairah "Hoodah" Huda stood up with me.

"Not that you don't know, but me and FiR here have a successful band called The Apprentices. We've just completed our 4th album, which will be released on 15 December. You should really hear our first track, it's the best vocals that me and FiR have ever done." Umairah said with anxiety.

"Yes, I'm the new member of the band. The lead vocalist." I said with embarrassment. I wasn't such a good singer twenty years ago.

It was really fun to know about my childhood buddies' life. Looks like all of us are successful now...

CNY Rehearsal

After Recess, all P6s went up to the hall to have a rehearsal for Chinese New Year. All went good. I LOVE 6 Challenge's and Courage's performance.
Courage one was quite modern and cool. Somehow reminds me of Bollywood. I like the way how the guys comes in to chase the girls. Very stylish. Well, it would be nice if they were in line.
Challenge's one was LONG! I like their 3rd item. The girls were dancing in such a HAWT way. She was dancing too. Somehow, they remind me of The Pussycat Dolls!
Anyway, maybe we should make changes to the E-gang's Performance. Hmm...

Anyway, do you guys want a music player in my blog? I can have a special column for it...

Just Another Day In School

Hi guys, it's just like any other day in school. Boring maths lessons, short English lessons, boring Karangan Malay lesson, etc. So today's post going to be a short one.



So, Vday is in a week!! And heck, I don't even dare to say that I like this girl face-to-face. Gee. So, goodbye for now!

Latest Rumours In School

To ADMPSians

If you didn't know - or maybe was too slow -, there are rumours about the school having a mass check for students who cut themselves. It has not been verified yet, but we are not too sure about it either.

Another massive check is going to be in a lookout for students who bring their handphones to school. I've heard that they are going to check pockets, bags, and all hiding place that may contain MP3 players or Handphones. So, for safety precautions, let's not bring any of the mentioned above to school until the coast is clear.
